The knife made of D2 steel has excellent corrosion resistance, and high strength allows you to keep the cutting edge for a long time. The steel is quite technological, so the skillful combination of carbon and chromium allows increasing the level of hard carbides of the M7C3 type.
As a result of carbide heterogeneity, a contrasting pattern often appears on the surface of the blade, which is damask in nature. This is due to the peculiarity of the steel structure.
Blades made of D2 steel practically do not rust, but it is recommended to occasionally wipe them with a cloth and not leave them in damp places.
