This device is designed for sharpening kitchen, hunting, and folding knives of various shapes and sizes. Thanks to the precise and stable clamping of the knife in the device’s clamps, as well as the ability to rotate the knife without removing it from the clamps, sharpening is quick, simple, and requires no special skills on the part of the operator.
In the “Kazak UBR” device, the quick-adjustment unit (UBR) for the sharpening angle consists of a toothed rack along which a roller with hinges moves as the hand crank rotates. This design allows for quick and precise adjustment of the sharpening angle with a single motion.
The original feature is a mechanism for adjusting the angular position of the entire device in the vertical plane, which allows the device’s position to be adjusted according to the operator’s individual requirements.
Our sharpening systems were the first to incorporate an angle between the sharpening system and the operator to facilitate control during knife sharpening.
The first parking hook built into a sharpener has been introduced.

The uniquely designed blade clamps are made of 7075 alloy and are heat-treated.
The horizontal guide rod, with a diameter of 8 mm, is made of alloyed stainless steel; its hardness is 58–60 HRC, and its surface roughness is 0.4 Ra.
It is possible to manufacture a vertical stand with increased height to increase the maximum sharpening angle.
