The updated K03 Pro, the most popular of the TSPROF sharpening systems, will help you get a perfectly sharp edge even faster, more precisely and more comfortably. Bundled with the Axicube-I, the first electronic angle finder designed specifically for sharpening systems. Setting the angle to within 0,1° has never been simpler or more convenient: the angle finder is built directly into the abrasive holder. The holder itself consists of two steel guide rods. A specially shaped coupling ensures a rigid and precise connection. No deflection and maximum precision. The rack-and-pinion lift is fitted with a steel rail with an involute (toothed) gear, allowing stepless adjustment of the sharpening angle. The slider is driven by a wheel with brass teeth, and the steel-and-brass pairing ensures smooth slider movement. For convenience, the slider is laser-marked with a scale of sharpening angles. The TSPROF K03 Pro needs no calibration and is assembled in a few minutes.
The K03 Pro body has no horizontal deviation, and the knife is clamped parallel to the table. The modern rack-and-pinion lift, with a rail with an involute (toothed) gear and stepless adjustment, allows the angle to be set to within 0,1°. Thanks to its improved design, the extended-angle height adjuster lets you sharpen knives in the range of 8° to 39°, i.e. up to a 78° inclusive angle.
The moving part is connected to the base with a dovetail, guaranteeing absolute precision of the angle setting. An additional locking screw lets you firmly fix the lift while removing play. An additional lifting rod is used to increase the sharpening angle. Fixing its position is now more convenient: the fastening screw can be installed on either side of the body. The lift is made of black anodised aircraft-grade aluminium. We moved the angle scale, referenced to the hinge block, to the front of the slider and the rod. The lift will also be available separately and can be used with the TSPROF K02 sharpener upgrade kit.
The unique rotation mechanism has a wide lever that makes turning easier and provides reliable automatic locking of the clamping frame. Thanks to the spring-and-bearing system, the frame flips over without wear on the mechanism. The body of the automatic flipping system is made of durable aircraft-grade aluminium, anodised black.
The universal holder lets you use any abrasive stones with the sharpener, on blanks or without them. The abrasive holder has no metal plate, but thanks to the special geometry of the stops it clamps abrasives as securely as possible. The abrasive holder rod has been lengthened to 694 mm; it is made of steel and has high rigidity. The holder rod is collapsible and joined with an aluminium sleeve coupling with three-point fastening, ensuring maximum alignment of the joint. The rod is fitted with a convenient adjusting screw that lets you join the rod with a single movement.
The Axicube angle finder comes bundled with the abrasive holder. Designed specifically for sharpening systems, the angle finder is integrated into the body of the holder’s movable stop, allowing the sharpening angle to be monitored in real time. The Axicube is rigidly connected to the abrasive holder and sits in the plane of the abrasive stone. This ensures maximum angle accuracy during use. The Axicube lets you set the angle to within 0,1°. The Axicube has a black anodised aluminium body; it is resistant to water splashes and dust, as well as to vibration, drops and temperature extremes. Attention: the charging port is not waterproof. Can be used at temperatures from 0°C to +40°C. Charges from a standard micro-USB charger. Every Axicube is factory-calibrated with verified measuring instruments. Before use, a special calibration plate is used to give it its initial reference angle. If the sharpener is moved to another surface, a new calibration with the plate is required.
The product is not intended for measurements other than sharpening; correct operation is only possible in combination with the TSPROF K03 Pro. The product is NOT COMPATIBLE with the TSPROF Kadet and TSPROF Blitz sharpeners. Correct operation of the product with other sharpening systems is not guaranteed.
Fully milled clamps made of high-strength black anodised aircraft-grade aluminium. Clamps of this kind give the device the greatest rigidity and stability. Thanks to the monolithic design of the clamps, their main advantage is increased resistance to abrasive pressure, which keeps the angles consistent in all phases of work, from grinding to polishing. When working with clamps of this kind there is no need to calibrate and adjust for knives of different shapes.
