The simplest way to sharpen knives quickly.

It is used in exactly the same way as a traditional honing rod.

In one step it straightens and hones the cutting edge of the knife.

Please note! The cutting edge of a knife is fragile and easily deformed. During use it wears down or may even be damaged by contact with bones or metal gloves.

Honing, or touch-up sharpening, is the operation that keeps the cutting edge in good condition for as long as possible, and it is done during the working day.

The SHARP’EASY kit also includes a stainless steel bracket (support) and instructions for use.

Using SHARP’EASY:

Daily maintenance of the cutting edge and burr removal:
Insert the blade into the guide up to the handle. When the blade touches the pre-tensioned guides, move

the blade from the handle to the tip with a gentle, even movement, going down inside the guide but without reaching the V-shaped stops at the bottom.

Repeat this movement several times in a row.

Straightening a worn or damaged cutting edge:
Insert the blade at the bottom of the guide, reaching the V-shaped stops. Slide the knife up to its handle. With a smooth movement draw the knife back to the tip while applying slight pressure.

It is recommended to repeat this several times in a row.

MATERIALS:

Yellow one-piece body made of extra-durable polypropylene
Pre-tensioned sharpening rods made of stainless steel 1.4310 (AISI 302) and hard-chrome plated
Blade guides made of stainless steel 1.4034 (AISI 420)
Support (mounting bracket) made of stainless steel 1.4307 (AISI 304L)
ADJUSTMENT:

Can be held by hand (without the bracket) thanks to its hand guard (protects the hand); a protective metal glove must be worn
Can also be fixed to a table thanks to its stainless steel bracket. Two possible positions:
at a 90° angle, placed on the edge of the worktop
at a 45° angle mounted on the “bracket” (product code 7847, sold separately), also placed on the edge of the worktop
Suitable for both right- and left-handed users
ASMENS VADOTNE:

The blade guide keeps a stable sharpening angle
The V-shaped stops straighten the cutting edge perfectly
When sharpening, the knife sometimes knocks against the upper edge of the SHARP’EASY. That is why the SHARP’EASY is
fitted with a stainless steel reinforcement at the top of the blade guide to prevent pieces of plastic getting into food.
