The easiest way to quickly sharpen knives.
It has exactly the same use as a traditional sharpening rod.
In a single step, it allows you to straighten and sharpen the blade’s cutting edge.
Please note! The cutting surface of the knife is fragile and easily deformed. During use, it wears down or may even become damaged when it comes into contact with bones or metal gloves.
Sharpening is a process that ensures the knife’s cutting edge remains in good condition for as long as possible, and it is performed during the workday.
The SHARP’EASY kit also includes a stainless steel bracket (support) and an instruction manual.
How to use SHARP’EASY:
Daily maintenance of the cutting surface and removal of burrs:
Insert the blade into the guide until it reaches the handle. When the blade comes into contact with the pre-tensioned guides, move it
Run the blade from the handle to the tip of the knife with a gentle, steady motion, sliding it down the inside of the guide rail but without reaching the V-shaped stop at the bottom.
This movement should be repeated several times in a row.
Straightening a Worn or Damaged Cutting Edge:
Insert the knife blade into the bottom of the guide until it reaches the V-shaped stops. Slide the knife all the way to its handle. With a smooth motion, guide the knife back to the tip, applying light pressure as you move.
It is recommended to repeat this step several times in a row.
MATERIALS:
Yellow monolithic housing made of high-strength polypropylene
Pre-tensioned sharpening rods made of stainless steel 1.4310 (AISI 302) and hard-chromium-plated
Blade guides made of stainless steel 1.4034 (AISI 420)
Support (mounting bracket) made of stainless steel 1.4307 (AISI 304L)
ADJUSTMENT:
Can be held manually (without a bracket) thanks to its hand guard (protects the hand) (use of a metal protective glove is mandatory)
It can also be mounted on a table thanks to its stainless steel bracket. Two possible positions:
at a 90° angle, placed on the edge of a workbench
at a 45° angle, mounted on a “bracket” (item code 7847 – sold separately), also placed on the edge of a workbench
Suitable for use by both right- and left-handed users
BLADE GUIDE:
The blade guide maintains a consistent sharpening angle
The V-shaped stop points perfectly straighten the cutting surface
When sharpening a knife, it sometimes tends to bump against the upper edge of the SHARP’EASY. That’s why SHARP’EASY
is equipped with a stainless steel reinforcement at the top of the blade guide to prevent plastic fragments from getting into food.
